John Beckford is engaged in systemic research on infrastructure. John is President of the Cybernetics Society and author of three books concerned with systemic management of organisations. He is currently developing an adaptive, predictive model of railway performance in relation to extreme weather on behalf of Network Rail designed to reduce delays and associated cost
