Alex Cowan founded RazorSecure in 2015 to solve two key issues within critical infrastructure cyber security; it took an average of six months to detect a breach, while false positives were measured in thousands of alerts per minute and overloading security teams.

RazorSecure was set to take a different approach: focusing on “what is normal” and treating each system as an individual as opposed to focusing on networks. Becoming specialists in rail cyber security, RazorSecure have worked with leading companies within the rail industry including; Northern, Icomera, Nomad Digital, Siemens Mobility and VT Militope.
