KIMMO SINISALO

Kimmo Sinisalo has worked at Helsinki Region Transport Authority since 1999, with experience from all tasks required for planning and organising an integrated, attractive and cost-effective public transport system. His main expertise is contracting and tendering for rail and bus services and asset provision. As project director for the recently concluded first tendering of commuter rail services Kimmo has been leading the push for rail market opening and increased competition in Finland, and intends to keep on fighting despite less than ideal progress.
